The Obama administration, including the president himself, have come out swinging a Fox News. They accuse Fox of pushing the Republican agenda and not being a legitimate news network. Let’s be honest, they point to Beck and Hannity. You will hear them mention “Let’s watch together and 5:00 and 9:00 and see what we mean.” [...] The obvious bias of the media and the “outrage” that a conservative like Limbaugh would use his money to buy and NFL team was obvious to most. Atlanta is a nice focal point to see the differences. Where were the protests when Turner (aka Jane Fonda’s husband) owned sports teams? What about the reinstatement [...] In Africa, drought continues for the sixth consecutive year, adding terribly to the toll of famine victims. During 1972 record rains in parts of the U.S., Pakistan and Japan caused some of the worst flooding in centuries. Over the long weekend that fervor hit our social network. The simple question was, “what is the big deal?” The simple answer (the one the left could not hear) was not the fact that he wanted to speak but [...] I seldom read Parade magazine in the Sunday paper but these weeks caught my eye. The lead story was about Shia LaBeouf of Transformer, Indiana Jones IV and Holes fame. But that was not what caught my eye. What caught me was the “In Over His Head?” Interesting…what was up? I was surprised [...] Government is mirroring business and the similarities are shocking. It started with Obama’s logo and the new Pepsi logo… an odd similarity in style. But it has not ended there. Just like Pepsi convinced Coke during the “New Generation” campaign, the GOP is now convinced that being a cheap copy of the other product [...] I am normally a fan of Newt. In fact he may be one of the most well read and articulate conservative commentators/speakers today. But his speech on Monday fell into the Mainstream Media trap. The sound bite I have heard the most often is “Now one of the challenges to the Republican Party, are we [...] A contrast in style. Waxman makes himself an idiot. He never expresses an opinion or listens to the input. He only berates the messenger. This seems to be the standard Liberal argument to all opposition to the growth of government. It is tough to actually find the argument for these tax increases. I have no [...] The CA voters (those same voters that voted for Obama 61%/37%) have voted down tax increases by about the same margin. Good news (sorry Mr. Powell, Americans do not want more taxes).
